About The Centre

The Centre consists of a large hall, two function rooms, a kitchen and a bar.

The Hall turns into a pop-up theatre with tiered seating for 120 people.

The community centre was built by members of the local community 40years ago.

It is used for many different functions, ranging from ceilidhs, birthday parties, christenings, dinner dance events, black-tie events and many more.

The centre is also used for various groups including, yoga, mothers and toddlers, Youth Group, Women's Institute, Gardening Club. Karate and Tai Chi and children’s groups. The community centre is also used by the local drama group, "The Kingsley Players" which is a multi-award-winning group and one of the leading amateur groups in Cheshire. The Kingsley Youth Theatre was formed in 2016 for those aged 7 to 18yrs. A National Lottery Grant was received in1999 which funded a new lighting gallery and rig, both of which were destroyed in a fire. The lighting rig was restored and updated after the fire when the current sound system was installed. The 'pop up theatre' was partially funded by a grant from a Rural Grant from Vale Royal in 2006.
